Europalco: In search of the unknown
Europalco provides several solutions for events, says the company’s CEO, Pedro Magalhães: audiovisual, furniture, decoration, studios, automatisms, stages, scenarios, tensionables, curtains, barriers, air conditioning, among others.At Europalco there is "a policy of constant investments". "Not always the plan we have of investments is fulfilled at the level of choice", explains Pedro Magalhães, "because a briefing for an event can change the strategy, and we are attentive to all the news, as well as the needs of our customers". The head of the company does not hesitate when asked what customers want: "They are looking for the unknown, the impressive, the product that has never been used and that will make the event richer, more revealing, and the best experience for those who watch".
While acknowledging that in recent months operating costs have increased "a lot", Pedro Magalhães counters that they cannot "be hostages to the market, nor lower customer expectations. We must continue to invest in the best products in the market". Despite this rise in costs, Europalco, says, has not yet raised prices, and even expresses a will: "we will make a great effort to keep them that way".
In 2022, Europalco is very close to achieving the 2019 results. "And we are sure that we will surpass them," says Pedro Magalhães. And anticipates: "2023 will be a year of great challenges, but we will be available to help, as much as we did in times of pandemic, where creativity, combined with quality and responsiveness, was our most effective vaccine. We are very optimistic".
